As a fully qualified psychotherapist and member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (Dip Couns MBACP), all of my clients can be assured of a highly professional and ethical service. My background is in Psychology and Occupational Therapy, with over 20 years of experience. Whilst my main areas of interest are stress, depression and anxiety, I have a wealth of experience in working with a wide range of mental health issues. I enjoy working with both adults and adolescents alike, and I provide a safe, warm environment for therapy. Confidentiality, respect and acceptance are key aspects of the service I offer.
I work in an integrative way, using a range of different approaches. This allows my work to be flexible and tailored to each client’s specific, individual needs. I very much value working together with each of my clients to build a compassionate and trusting bond, which fosters healing and an improved sense of well-being.
I fully appreciate that asking for help can be extremely anxiety provoking. However, reaching out for counselling can be the first step towards feeling able to cope with life’s challenges. My aim is to empower my clients to help themselves, and to enable them to reach their true potential.
